New working group endorsed

We are pleased to learn that the Research Data Alliance (RDA) has fully endorsed a new working group on the topic “Harmonised terminologies and schemas for FAIR data in materials science and related domains“. This endorsement follows after the proposal was open to community review and feedback earlier in the year.

The working group will formally kick off at the upcoming, fully virtual, 22nd Plenary Meeting of the RDA, which promises a very full and busy programme of events.

The group will offer two specific sessions so that every global region can easily participate. Session one will take place on Wednesday 15 May 2024, 07:00–08:30 UTC, and session two will take place on Thursday 23 May 2024, 14:00–15:30 UTC.

The draft agenda for the sessions is now available with opportunities for all participants to hear talks and provide input on a wide range of topics and interests.
